Now that you understand Why I Write, How I Write, and have seen examples of my writing from my first English course until now, you should explore all of my writing from every course. It points to the progress I have made as a writer and as a person because my writing always is a reflection of my life because that’s all I know! Here, you will find short stories, poems, academic writing, imitations from some of my favorite authors, and anecdotes about my life. The theme you will notice in my writing is that I always manage to add something personal to any type of essay, that is because my life is all I know, so it’s all I write about it. More than anything, because writing is my choice and I write about my life, this portfolio will continue to expand and change as I grow.
